Job summary

Hurley and Volk Orthodontics of South Elgin, part of Smile Doctors, is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our growing team. You’ll assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision, review patient charts, log data, and support the orthodontist in delivering excellent patient care.

You will review remote monitoring dashboards, triage patient scans and messages, educate patients on care and remote monitoring, and maintain strict infection-control protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state.
• Radiography certification if required by state.
• CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe notes.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard, triage patient scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
