Job summary

Dental Depot Orthodontics Moore PLLC in Moore, OK seeks a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to support the doctor from patient intake to treatment completion. You will prepare patients, sterilize instruments, set up trays and assist during procedures.

You will record treatment in Dolphin, take x-rays, manage inventory, and help with post-operative instructions. A Dental Assisting certificate or one year experience is required, along with Oklahoma permits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Completion of Dental Assisting Program or minimum one year experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Current Oklahoma Dental Assisting Permit required.
• Radiation Safety and Protection Permit within 6 months of employment.
• Coronal Polishing and Topical Fluoride Permit within 6 months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up trays and assist during orthodontic procedures.
• Record treatment information in patient records and chart treatments in Dolphin.
• Examine and take dental x-rays and manage x-ray sensor care.
• Provide postoperative instructions and ensure patient understanding.
• Maintain inventory and assist in removal of braces and related tasks.
