We are seeking an Orthodontic Billing Specialist to join our Insurance/Front Desk teams at our locations in West Babylon, NY, and Patchogue, NY.

Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software is helpful but not mandatory; a strong understanding of dental insurance is required.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Educating patients on treatment plans and fees.
• Explaining insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs.
• Monitoring pre-determinations and claims.
• Collaborating with the team on payments and collections.
• Managing email communications and claim rejections.
• Assisting with documentation and reports.
• Supporting team members and helping meet practice goals.

Qualifications:

• Three or more years’ experience in dental or orthodontic insurance billing.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and math skills.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
