White Greer & Maggard - London, KY is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant for a four-day workweek, 7:50 AM to 4:50 PM with a lunch break 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The role focuses on patient comfort, team collaboration, and efficient practice flow.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Ortho assisting experience (preferred).
• X-Ray Certification (preferred).
• CPR Certification (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist with procedures and charting.
• Prepare teeth for bracket and appliance placement.
• Take X-Rays and manage sterilization.
• Assist with Invisalign starts and maintenance.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and families.

A Day In the Life Of

As our Orthodontic Assistant, you'll engage in a variety of tasks that keep our practice running smoothly

• Adjustments: Performing orthodontic adjustments and charting


• Preparation: Preparing teeth for bracket and appliance placement


• Invisalign: Starts and maintenance


• Sterilization: Ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized


• Digital scanning (iTero)


• Communication - Engaging with patients, co-workers, and parents


• Taking X-Rays
