Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant in Norwalk, CT. You will support the orthodontist with chair-side procedures, prep materials, and maintain asepsis per OSHA guidelines. Ideal candidates have 0-2 years’ experience and CPR certification, with state licensure as required.

Full-time position with comprehensive health benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team. Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' experience in dental or orthodontic assisting.
• State licensure as required by state.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist by preparing materials and equipment for treatment.
• Provide chair-side support and patient education.
• Record and review patient health history; enter treatment plans as directed.
• Prepare treatment estimates for review with patients.
• Set up trays and instruments; maintain asepsis and sterilization between procedures.
• Assist with impressions, scans, and bonding preparations.
• Support daily scheduling and practice operations according to OSHA guidelines.
