Job summary

42 North Dental, a Southern Connecticut Dental Group clinic in Ansonia, CT, is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant. You will greet patients, prepare them for treatment, assist chairside, and help expose radiographs while ensuring a clean, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, break down, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change

Skills

Knowledge of dental procedures

C.D.A. preferred
