Elite Smiles Orthodontics in Atlanta, GA is seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles.

You will support the orthodontist and clinical team in delivering high-quality care in a patient-focused environment. Ideal candidates will have RDA licensure and orthodontic experience, with strong communication skills and a commitment to infection control and OSHA

Qualifications

Current state licensure as a Dental Assistant (RDA) required.
Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred; dental assisting experience will be considered.
Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and appliances.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, patient-focused approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist during exams and orthodontic procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and orthodontic materials.
Place and remove arch wires, bands, and brackets as directed.
Take digital impressions, photos, and X-rays in compliance with safety standards.
Educate patients on appliance care and oral hygiene.
Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance.
