Job summary

North American Dental Group is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support clinical teams with exemplary patient care in a fast-paced dental environment. The role emphasizes chair-side assistance, charting, sterilization, and accurate documentation to ensure efficient patient flow.

The ideal candidate will hold state licensure where required, a dental radiographer license, and CPR certification, with 0-2 years of experience. This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• State licensure required or specified.
• Valid Dental Radiographer License for state requirements.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side support, assist doctor, charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health history; enter charts per doctor and ensure forms/signatures in software.
• Enter and update patient treatment plans as directed.
• Change/remove wires/brackets/adhesive; take impressions and scans; prepare teeth for bonding.
• Prepare treatment estimates for review with patient.
• Review daily schedule to set up trays and instruments.
• Prepare patient, sterilize/disinfect instruments, set up trays, maintain asepsis, assist dentist per OSHA guidelines.
