Job summary

Baptiste Orthodontics in Florida is seeking a motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our clinical team. You will assist the Orthodontist during examinations and treatments, prepare operatories, and support workflow efficiency while maintaining patient comfort.

With at least one year of orthodontic assisting experience, you will handle wires, retainers, and digital scans, educate patients on plans and care, and help fabricate customized appliances under supervision.

• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patients are comfortable and procedures run smoothly.
• Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and support clinical workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Perform orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers under direct supervision.
• Conduct digital scans and assist in fabricating customized appliances and retainers.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care to ensure they are fully informed.
