Qualifications

• At least 1 year of orthodontic chairside experience.
• Experience with digital scanning and orthodontic workflows.
• Experience with or willingness to learn in-house printing and fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic patient records.
• Current Texas RDA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside orthodontic assisting, including bracket adjustments and appliance delivery.
• Perform retainer bonding and delivery (RPE, Herbst).
• Take panoramic and cephalometric X-rays and intraoral photographs.
• Prepare patients for treatment and explain appliance/retainer care.
• Conduct digital scans for appliances and aligners (iTero).
• Assist with in-house printing and fabrication of retainers (Essix, Hawley).
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Support efficient patient flow and daily clinical operations.
