Smile Doctors, LLC is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant in Vincennes, IN to support Orthodontists with appliance placement, chart review, and patient education. This role involves assisting with procedures, maintaining sterile operatory conditions, and handling remote monitoring triage.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, some dental/orthodontic experience, and relevant certifications as required by state Dental Board. Travel between Bloomington and Vincennes is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under supervision of Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory per protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies.
