Job summary

Smile Doctors in Georgia is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our Magillins Georgia team. You’ll provide a positive clinical experience, assist with appliances, and help manage chaperoned patient care under the Orthodontist’s supervision.

You will review charts, log data, and engage with remote monitoring platform, triage patient messages, and educate families about care plans. Expect sterilization, instrument prep, and strict infection-control adherence in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental assistant certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification may be required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and respond to patient messages/triage notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following infection-control protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
