Stanley Orthodontics is a leading orthodontic practice in Fresno, CA dedicated to providing exceptional care and innovative treatment options for our patients. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in orthodontics, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent patient care skills. As an RDA, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth clinical operations while providing exceptional service to our patients.

  • This is a full-time position
  • 32+ hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the dental office’s scheduling and billing systems.
  • Order and manage dental supplies, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and organized.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, greeting patients, and processing payments.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
  • Valid RDA license and certification in CPR. OA License is a plus!
  • Previous experience as a RDA is required.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols.
  • Proficient in taking digital radiographs and familiar with dental software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
