Job summary

Stellar Orthodontics in Millsboro, DE is hiring an upbeat Orthodontic Assistant to join our friendly team. You’ll support the orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and treatments, help patients feel comfortable, and celebrate progress with a smile.

No prior orthodontic experience is required—training is provided. Must be x-ray certified and ready to work in a fast-paced, positive environment that values care, teamwork, and patient joy.

Qualifications

• X-ray certified (state requirement)
• Dental/orthodontic experience preferred or willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Responsibilities

• Be the smile sidekick to our orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and treatments.
• Help patients feel comfortable, cared for, and celebrated every step of the way.
• Take photos, x-rays, and digital scans.
• Cheer on patients as they hit their treatment milestones and support the coach/cheerleader role.

• Be the smile sidekick to our orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and treatments.
• Help patients feel comfortable, cared for, and celebrated every step of the way.
• Take photos, x-rays, and digital scans (yes, you get to play with cool tech!)
• Cheer on patients as they hit their treatment milestones - think of yourself as part coach, part cheerleader!
• Teach patients and parents how to care for their smiles and appliances.
• Keep our clinical space clean, safe, and welcoming (because no one loves a messy smile zone).
