NBC Orthodontics Incorporated in Georgetown, TX is seeking a motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our patient-focused team. You will assist the orthodontist chairside during examinations and procedures, place and remove brackets and wires, and help create confident, beautiful smiles in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Applicants should have orthodontic or dental assisting experience, knowledge of radiography, and a patient-first demeanor.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental or orthodontic assisting preferred.
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
• Current X-ray certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-first approach.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance during examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures.
• Place and remove brackets, wires, and elastics on appliances.
• Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and impressions/digital scans.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for appointments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care for appliances.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment per infection control protocols.
