Job summary

Anthony Patel Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience while following state laws under the Orthodontist's supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with appliances, records, patient charts, labs, remote monitoring, and educating patients. Prerequisites include a high school diploma, orthodontic experience or certified Clinician I, and state-required certifications. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctor Clinician I.
• Dental assisting credentials as required by state board.
• CPR and radiography certifications as required by state board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing/removing appliances and taking full records under supervision.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with accurate procedures.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe notes.
• Perform lab procedures under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Assist with final checks on patients and lead patient flow.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard: triage scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per protocol.
• Assist in local store marketing and community events.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.

Anthony Patel Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.

How you’ll make us better:

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist
• Perform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist
• Assist the Point with performing final checks on patients and leading patient flow
• Administer the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notifications
• Educate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
• Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols

Prerequisites for success:

• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board
