Job summary

Ries & Maerz Orthodontics in Missouri is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support the doctor team and provide friendly, professional patient care. You will assist with procedures, educate patients, and help maintain a positive clinical flow.

The role includes chairside assistance, taking X-rays and photos, maintaining charts, stocking rooms, and following infection control protocols. A high school diploma and 1–3 years relative experience are required; a comprehensive benefits package is

Responsibilities

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients and deliver high-quality customer service.

• Maintain patient charts and transcribe doctor notes accurately.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, organized, and sterilize equipment.
• Be receptive to coaching from doctors to develop skills.

Job description

The Orthodontic Assistant is a pivotal role to Ries and Maerz Orthodontics and serves as the primary supporting person to our doctor team. This role will assist with various activities in working with the doctors and patients alike and will strive to be a positive, friendly, and professional addition to the team.

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the highest level of patient customer service is given to all patients
• Educate the patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices
• Work chairsidewithpatient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1-3 Years Relative Experience
