360 Orthodontics is seeking a reliable Orthodontic Assistant at our Westwood, CA location. The role involves chair-side assisting, taking X-rays and photos, and maintaining full patient records for orthodontic procedures.

You will work at Westwood, CA with 14-16 days per month, Tuesdays through Fridays. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k, paid sick leave, complimentary orthodontics for staff, and training on our software and tools.

Qualifications

• X-Ray Certification required.
• DA, OA, or RDA certification required.
• Experience with taking X-rays and photos.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Chair-side assisting and proper charting.
• Ability to set up and break down chairs; sterilization procedures.
• Performing full records including panos/cephs/photos; preparing instruments.
• Bonding, banding, debonding, impressions.
• 3D scanning (Itero) is valued.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide orthodontic chair-side assistance.
• Take and process X-rays and photos; maintain records.
• Prepare tools and instruments for scheduled procedures.
• Assist in placing/removing orthodontic appliances and bonding processes.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control throughout.
• Utilize practice management software and dental tech tools.

Westwood, CA: 14-16 days a month
