Job summary

Specialty Dental Brands in the United States is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant for a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

You will seat patients promptly, assist with procedures, prepare teeth, monitor hygiene, take CBCT/iTero scans, chart with Dolphin software, and support the orthodontist.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic; applicant must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the U.S., with dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Help to maintain patient flow pattern by seating patients promptly and begin procedures
• Place separators, elastic ties, and wires
• Prepare teeth for bonding
• Remove braces and place lingual retainers
• Monitor oral hygiene of patients, instructs on correct brushing
• Keeps drawers stocked, clean, and replenished
• Communicate with patient/parent at each appointment and answer any questions
• Take CBCT scans and iTero scans
• Chart accurately using Dolphin software
• Assist Orthodontist in any given procedure
• Anticipate what doctor may need during appointment and takes action
• Manage chair side time efficiently
• Performs daily side work
• Attend all other staff meetings and morning huddles
• Abide by established office policies and procedures
• Represent the practice in a positive way inside and outside of the office
