Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring for a Registered Nurse on the 3 West Ortho/Trauma unit. This role requires ADN with BSN preferred, a valid Virginia RN license, and BLS certification within 90 days. We welcome both experienced RNs and new grads to join our supportive team.

The unit offers a 36-hour weekend day FT schedule (Fri-Sun, 7a-7p) with a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus for experienced nurses.

Qualifications

• ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experienced RN's and New grads welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process with critical thinking.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in orthopedics/trauma units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and educate patients and families.
