Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital's 3 West Ortho/Trauma unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to deliver high-quality care in a 24-bed inpatient setting. The RN will work within a multidisciplinary team to support musculoskeletal patients and post-surgical recovery.

The unit offers a Nurse Residency program for new graduates and welcomes experienced RNs. ADN is required, BSN preferred, with Virginia RN licensure and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact RN license in good standing; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and critical thinking.
• Meet standards of practice including ethics, education, and evidence-based nursing.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to promote health and safety.
