Job summary

Trinity Health is offering a part-time RN student program in Kentucky. Earn a $2,000 monthly stipend while completing the last 9 months of your RN education. Upon licensure, start your nursing career with MercyOne, subject to an 18-month retention requirement.

The program covers board/license fee reimbursement up to $600 and requires enrollment in an accredited RN program, age 18+, and BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certified within six (6) weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Performs or assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Responds to patient calls and anticipates patient needs.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort through safe handling techniques and regular rounds.
• Collects and labels specimens and monitors patient condition.
