• RN license in Illinois (IDFPR) and current nursing practice.
• Ability to perform comprehensive initial assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessment and develop care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on wound care, mobility, and discharge needs.
• Coordinate with physicians and surgeons to optimize patient outcomes.
• Delegate and supervise care by the unit staff, including equipment setup.
• Manage wound devices, drains, and other postoperative supports.
