Job summary

CHI Health Clinic's CUMC-Bergan Ortho Trauma Clinic seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote optimal outcomes.

You must hold an active RN license in Nebraska, complete a nursing program, and maintain BLS certification. Sign-on bonus and education assistance are available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Current RN license that allows practice in Nebraska.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care following clinic workflows.
• Perform nursing care related to orthopaedic trauma specialty as needed.
• Obtain health history, vitals, and chief complaint information.
• Care for patients per guidelines and regulations.
• Educate patients and families about health and management of conditions.
• Perform other duties within scope as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
• May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
• Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assess disease conditions.
• Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required
