Job summary

CHI Health Clinic is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care at the CUMC-Bergan Ortho/Trauma Clinic. You will perform general nursing duties, conduct assessments, and develop patient care plans within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

You will educate patients and families, ensure adherence to guidelines and laws, and collaborate across specialties to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license to practice in the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
  • May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
  • Obtain and document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease conditions.
  • Provide patient care based on guidelines, standards of care, and laws.
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
  • Sign-on bonus and education assistance to new hires who meet eligibility requirements.

  • Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
