Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an Orthopedic Tech for an evening, full-time role on a 24-bed unit. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm, serving patients after orthopedic surgery including joint replacements, spine and hand procedures.

You will prepare and clean treatment areas, position patients, transport them, and assist with supplies while supporting clerical and clinical staff to carry out treatment plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of health care experience preferred.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean treatment areas.
• Position patients for therapy and procedures.
• Transport patients between areas as needed.
• Procure and inventory supplies for the unit.
• Support both clerical and clinical staff in delivering treatment plans.
