Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Full Time OR support technician working daytime shifts. You will transport adult and pediatric patients, assist surgeons with orthopedic casting and traction, and help set up plaster carts for efficient room turnover in Surgical Services.

Transports adult and pediatric patients. Duties may include set up of orthopedic equipment, taking directives and providing assistance to surgeons with regard to casting and traction applications. Sets up plaster carts and assists with room turnover in Surgical Services.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: CNA, EMT, Nursing Student, Ortho Tech

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous Operating Room experience preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• American Heart Association BLS certification

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• None required.
