Responsibilities

• Participate in patient positioning and surgical site verification.
• Assist with prepping and draping the surgical field.
• Ensure all instruments, implants, and equipment are available and functioning.
• Assist with controlling bleeding using cautery, clamps, or ties.
• Assist with deep and superficial wound closure.
