Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital is seeking an Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator to lead clinical practice, education, and program research within a hospital setting. You will ensure regulatory compliance and oversee care protocols while driving process improvements and patient experience initiatives.

This role requires an RN license, BSN within four years if applicable, and strong experience in disease-specific care and quality programs.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• RNs promoted to this role must obtain BSN within four years of hire/promotion.
• Demonstrated expertise in disease-specific care.
• Proven nursing experience over several years.
• Experience with quality management programs including registry data collection.
• Proficient in computer skills, including graphs, tables, and trend reports.
• Strong critical thinking, data organization, and analysis skills.
• Experience in educational program development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care across the continuum, planning and implementing clinical protocols and practice guidelines.
• Develops and reviews care protocols, policies, and procedures to promote the program.
• Provide managerial oversight for program personnel and aid in budgeting and strategic planning.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develops and maintains process improvement programs and monitors quality of care.
