Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Tulsa, OK. The assignment offers a day shift (3x12-hour) from 06:45 AM to 07:15 PM, focusing on orthopedic and spine surgery patient care.

In this role you will deliver direct patient care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications and IV therapy, educate patients and families, and document precisely in EPIC as part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of RN clinical experience, with orthopedic nursing preferred.
BLS certification required.
Travel nursing experience is required.
Must possess a valid RN license in Oklahoma or compact state.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and evidence-based practice.
Monitor and assess patient condition, implementing interventions as needed.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy and patient-navigated care plans.
Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the EPIC documentation system.
