Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the hospital setting, collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams to provide safe, effective care for musculoskeletal patients.

The role involves 40 hours weekly across four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a variable schedule between 6:30 am and 7:00 pm. Background checks and licensure per job requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Assess patients and determine ongoing nursing care needs.
• Develop and revise care plans for optimum outcomes.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments to determine nursing care needs.
• Develop, review and individualize the plan of care for optimum outcomes.
• Implement interventions safely per the plan of care.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and interventions.
• Maintain professional behavior in line with the organization’s mission.
• Address risks to patients, families, and staff.
• Comply with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend department meetings and mandatory education.
• Follow hospital and department policies.
• Attend to other duties as assigned.
