Job summary

OrthoNebraska seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a clinic setting focused on musculoskeletal care. The RN will collaborate with both clinical and non-clinical teams to provide safe, effective patient care.

Hours are five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7am–5pm. A nursing degree, state RN/LPN licensure (NE/IA), and BLS are required. Prior RN/LPN experience is preferred. Travel between locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN or LPN license in the state(s) where services are provided (generally NE and IA).
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year RN/LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms and record vital signs and medical history in EMR.
• Prepare patients for exams and in-office procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations, injections, and in-office procedures.
• Prepare injections, treatments, and orders as directed by licensed providers.
• Prepare specimens for external lab testing.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, pre/post-surgery, medications, and self-care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR and coordinate scheduling of appointments, surgeries, and tests.
• Respond to patient inquiries and communicate with providers regarding care needs.
• Ensure clinic flow, equipment readiness, and proper infection-control practices.
• Support orientation and training of new team members as needed.
• Monitor medical supply inventory and maintain compliance with regulations.
