Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse RN Ortho for night shifts.

This role provides safe, competent nursing care and leadership to the orthopedic team, with a focus on patient-centered care in a fast-paced unit. Requires Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS/NRP/PALS per unit, and at least one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current BLS at time of hire.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Minimum one year of acute care RN experience.
• ACLS as of start date for most units.
• NRP for Women’s Center as start date.
• NIH/CP C for ER/ICU/PCU within 90 days.
• PALS, CPI within 90 days for ER; PACU PALS requirement.

Responsabilités

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
