We're looking for a Ortho Registered Dental Assistant professional who will work closely with our Orthodontist.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm/9am-6pm, 2 Saturdays a Month 8am-2pm hours might differ due to traveling to different offices
Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment and take initial medical history.

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including placement of braces, adjustments, and other appliances.

• Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.

• Perform orthodontic procedures under supervision (e.g., taking impressions, placing separators, removing appliances).

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.

• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas according to OSHA and dental board standards.

• Manage inventory and prepare materials for procedures.

• Support the front office when needed with scheduling, answering phones, or other administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Must have certs to be hired:
• cpr or bls
• registered dental assistant license
• must have 3-5 years of ortho experience
• willing to travel to South Los Angeles, North Los Angeles and Orange County
• this is a fast-paced environment with a daily patient volume ranging from 20 to 50 patients

Compensation

$23-$25/hr
