Job Summary

Seeking Physical Therapist with the following clinical specialisations: Acute Care, Cardiovascular & Pulmonary, Geriatrics, Neurology, Oncology, Pediatrics, and Women’s Health to join our dynamic team.

Schedule & Training
  • Full‑time: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (40 hours total).
  • During training: Follow your trainer’s start time, including weekends.
  • Post‑training: Start at 10 AM
  • Full‑time OT/PT staff qualify for overtime pay if working over 40 hours/week.
  • Paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate for hours beyond 40/week.
  • No double pay for overtime and holiday premium.
  • 3 weekend shifts/month for the first 2 years; 2 weekend shifts/month thereafter.
  • Mandatory work on Thanksgiving and Christmas as part of a rotating schedule.
  • Second Shift (Evening): Clock out after 7:07 PM then pays from 2:45 PM.
  • Third Shift (Night): Clock out after 3:07 AM then pays from 10:45 PM.
  • Weekend Shift: Clock out after 10:45 PM Friday to 7:15 AM Monday.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program at the bachelor level and eligibility for licensure in Texas.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic principles and practices; good clinical judgment; ability to prioritise and maximise patient treatment potential.
  • Ability to identify, record, and set goals for patient problems; design and evaluate treatment plans; monitor progress; and prepare for discharge.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills; efficient organisation of patient treatment time; accurate documentation of progress.
No Experience Required
  • Active CPR (or BASIC LIFE SUPPORT) certification upon hire or within specified period.
  • Physical Therapist licensure in Texas upon hire.
Preferred
  • 1 year of clinical experience.
Job Duties
  • Knowledge of therapeutic principles and practices; good clinical judgment.
  • Identify and record problem areas on evaluation; set goals with realistic timeframes.
  • Analyse and design treatment plans; determine if planned treatment is effective and progress patient timely.
  • Prepare for patient discharge in an organised and efficient manner, including accurate submission of equipment needs.
  • Foster teamwork by treating all staff fairly, facilitating two‑way communication and having a collaborative attitude.
  • Organise patient treatment time efficiently.
  • Record patient progress in a concise, accurate, and timely fashion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
