Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm; 9am-6pm or 4 (10hr) shifts

The community you’ll be caring for: Ortho Physical Therapy Patients

Location: 100 Waymont Court Suite 120 Lake Mary, FL 32746

The role you’ll contribute:

As part of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a team dedicated to whole-person care to help patients heal, strengthen, and renew. We serve patients from Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler, and Lake Counties with a committed team of therapists, clinicians, and staff aligned with AdventHealth’s mission.

In this outpatient setting, you will provide professional direct and indirect services to various age groups. Utilize process improvement to meet department goals. Practice autonomously and collaboratively, providing best practices with professional judgment and action.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Promote evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative research, journal clubs, teaching, mentoring, and clinical education.
• Build referral relationships by marketing to physicians and practices, aiming for at least 2 contacts per month. Support community awareness through events, lectures, and other outreach activities.
• Determine Physical Therapy Diagnosis, establish care plans, and recommend referrals outside of scope when needed.
• Perform Direct Access Physical Therapy as permitted by state law.
• Design and implement treatment plans using standards, techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs. Monitor and modify as needed.

Qualifications:

• Licensed in Florida as a Physical Therapist or holding a Temporary Permit
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous outpatient experience or clinical rotations in an outpatient setting
