Job summary

HiredFirst in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an RN – PCU Orthopedic to provide high-quality care for post-surgical and step-down patients in a fast-paced orthopedic unit.

You will monitor patient conditions, administer medications, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and educate families on recovery plans, discharge care, and mobility. Active RN license and at least 1 year of acute care experience required.

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for orthopedic and progressive care patients.
• Monitor patient conditions, pain levels, and recovery progress closely.
• Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans, mobility, and discharge care.
