Job summary

Novus Orthodontics in Columbia, SC is seeking an Orthodontic Patient Services Coordinator to welcome patients, schedule appointments, and assist with billing and inquiries. You will help create a fun, kid-friendly experience and maintain accurate patient records.

We value reliability, energy, and compassionate teamwork. Full-time hours (30+ per week) with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K in a supportive pediatric-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred; training provided.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people skills.
• Experience with Cloud9 software or iTero scanners is a plus.
• Full-time role (30+ hours per week).
• Dependable with strong attention to detail.

• Welcoming patients and making them feel comfortable.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Answer incoming patient calls and assist with scheduling, billing and general inquiries.
• Creating a fun and engaging experience for each kiddo.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid‑friendly environment.
• Process insurance verifications and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collect payments and call on past due accounts.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Daytime hours – No nights!
