Job summary

AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL, is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in our Sports Med & Rehab location. The role involves diagnosing conditions, creating and implementing care plans, and coordinating with PT assistants to deliver high-quality therapy.

Minimum pay starts at $35/hour with full-time hours (days). Education should include a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, BLS/CPR, and active PT licensure (or PT-TEMP).

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
• Physical Therapist license or temporary license (PT-TEMP) required.

Responsibilities

• Determine physical therapy diagnosis and establish plan of care.
• Design and implement treatment plans using standards and modalities.
• Assess patient mobility and evaluate neurological, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems.
• Oversee care provided by PT assistants and rehab aides.
• Document and code patient visits accurately per policy.
• Support marketing to physicians to build referral relationships.
