Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center-Cypress, an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Tampa, FL, is hiring an Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced team.

Under the charge nurse and clinical director, the OR nurse will provide perioperative care for orthopedic procedures, adhere to SGNA standards, and collaborate with physicians, patients, and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes in a busy ASC.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• BCLS/ACLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an operating room setting; orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate perioperative care for ORTHO procedures in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Follow SGNA standards of practice in nursing care.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and health care team.
• Demonstrate professionalism, prioritization, and critical thinking in a fast-paced ASC.
• Document nursing care accurately and maintain patient safety.
• Adhere to dress code, attendance, breaks, and required competencies.
• Attend required center meetings and participate in team collaboration.
