Job summary

USPI's Comprehensive Outpatient Joint and Spine Institute seeks an Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse to support perioperative care in our ambulatory setting. The RN will assist during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient flow.

Requirements include Florida RN license, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and a minimum of two years OR experience. The role emphasizes independent prioritization and professional interaction with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum two years previous OR experience.
• Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure.
• Provide perioperative nursing care and ensure patient safety and comfort during perioperative processes.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to prioritize responsibilities and maintain efficient OR flow.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
