Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking an experienced RN for the Orthopedic Neuro Trauma unit in a PRN role. You will provide expert medical-surgical care, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to patient-centered outcomes.

The ideal candidate is Florida-licensed, with an ASN/Diploma, BLS, and acute care experience; BSN preferred. You will educate patients, document care, and ensure safe medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida RN; if compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
