Job summary

Qualifications

• Florida RN license in accordance with state regulations; compact license if applicable.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication; proficient PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, including tests and results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
