Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Georgia seeks an RN - Ortho/Neuro on the Med Surg 3 unit (17-bed hybrid) to provide nursing care for CVA/TIA and post-op knee/hip/spinal surgery patients, working days with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

This role emphasizes bedside assessments, care planning, coordination with the care team, and teaching opportunities, with EPIC EHR and access to residency and CAP programs to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia (or eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS/PALS/ECG/nursing certifications as unit requires

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing process
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff to ensure quality care
• Document patient care and concerns in the patient record
• Communicate issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/Physician as appropriate
