Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with procedures, injections, and patient care in Albany, GA. The role includes collecting specimens, running labs, EKGs, and basic tests while handling clerical duties and documentation.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and about 1 year of clinical experience; CMA certification is preferred. The position may require float to other Phoebe clinics as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of clinical work experience required.
• Phoebe Putney Health System rotation or CMA internship considered in lieu of experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists physicians with patient procedures and injections.
• Performs EKGs, drug screens, breath alcohols and basic lab tests.
• Collects specimens and applies dressings and splints.
• Maintains accurate documentation and data entry.
• Floats to other clinics during high volume or coverage needs.
• Provides patient education and supports confidentiality.
• Takes part in plan of care and tracks patient responses.
