Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Nurse to join the Medical Surgical – Ortho team. This role primarily serves orthopedic patients but also handles overflow from general surgery and medical patients, on a busy, fast‑paced unit.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process.
• Perform patient care, delegate tasks, and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
