Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships with colleagues and patients, showing accountability and commitment to safety and quality of care.
• Teaches patients and families using adult learning principles, may serve as a preceptor for new staff.
• Applies nursing process within Relationship Based Care to plan care and involve patients as partners.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development and participates in unit-based governance and quality improvement.
• Identifies opportunities for quality improvement and uses evidence-based practice to improve patient care and satisfaction.
