Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join the Ortho/Spine unit. You will perform nursing duties, administer medications with safety, and contribute to patient care plans in a 32-bed unit.

This part-time daytime role features 7a-7p shifts, with opportunities for advancement. A vocational LPN program, current Oklahoma LPN license, and BLS are required; hospital experience preferred. Competitive compensation includes shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Current Oklahoma State LPN License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training during orientation prior to patient care.
Current BLS maintained thru employment duration.
Prefer previous hospital experience; stable employment history preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with it.
Administers medication with safety and accuracy.
Documents nursing care and activities.
Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
Maintains exam/treatment rooms and work environment.
Assists with training of other staff.
