Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the 3 West Ortho/Joint Unit. This on-site role supports nursing staff by delivering patient care, assisting with admissions and discharge, and ensuring safety under supervision.

The position is full-time with day shift, roughly 7am to 7pm, on a 12-bed unit serving post-operative orthopedic patients. Required include High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 90 days.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Eligible candidates may have CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or Navy Hospital Corps training.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes and maintain safety.
