The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, support families in care planning, and coordinate care with the care team to optimize resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills; proficiency with technology and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
• Deliver patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, respecting cultural differences and involving patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication and teamwork, supporting performance improvement and shared governance initiatives.
• Serve as preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and maintain a qualified workforce.
• Promote research, evidence-based practice, and participation in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Develop protocols in collaboration with the care team to optimize resource use and reduce adverse events.
